Looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for one of my international financial services clients in the Eastern suburbs of JHB.
*Job & Company Description:*
The business is one of the leading global financial services companies with a focus on commercial, personal/home insurance with more than 3 decades in operation.

The successful professional will be responsible for the full Bookkeeping (up to balance sheet and trail balance) function and for acting as the 2IC to the Assistant Financial Manager.

*Job Experience & Skills Required:*

* Minimum 3 years' experience - in a similar role - preferably in the financial services environment
* Experience on Pastel evolution - preferred!
*Qualifications:*

* Must have Matric - non neg
* Must have a post matric qualification in Finance/Accounting
* *
*Key Responsibilities:*

* Debtors Full Function i.e. Recons, processing invoices, problem solving
* Creditors Full Function i.e. Recons, processing invoices, problem solving
* Banking - Capturing, reconciling and allocations
* Complete function up to Balance Sheet and trail balance
* VAT recon and submission
* PAYE submission
* Management Accounts
* Reconciling of General Ledger Accounts
* Reporting on Cashflow requirements
