Description
As a Junior Accountant, you will:
- Shadow Senior Consultants in client engagements
- Attend client meetings to discuss and agree initial project requirements and liaise on project progress
- Assist senior accountants in the full spectrum of government accounting
- Gain valuable and meaningful government accounting experience
- Undertake research and collate client related material
Profile
- Completed a degree in accounting or commerce
- Obtained, or working towards Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
- Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must be an Australian Citizen)
- Highly motivated with a proven record of successful achievement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships with stakeholders and internal teams
