The Opportunity
The Accounts Payable clerk is a member of the Transactions Services function within the FACTS Team which provides financial management, compliance and transaction services to the business in accordance with the financial objectives of Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) in addition to providing accounting services for Boeing Australia Holdings (BAH).
Please note this is a temporary role for 12 months and is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Tasks include managing, and performing as required, the following activities within the team as per BDA/BAH policies and procedures:

* Timely processing of invoices in multi currencies
* Generating supplier payment runs and out of run payments
* Appropriate record keeping
* Process improvements
* Responding to and investigating queries from suppliers and the business
* Reconciliation of supplier statements

CREDIT CARDS

* Provide support as requested by Team Lead

OTHER

* Ad hoc support to business requests

Experience/Qualifications

* At least 3 years experience in an accounts payable function
* Experience with Oracle (highly desirable)
* Ability to work as an effective team member and good written and verbal communication skills
