Fit seeking a Staff Accountant to assist in maintaining financial reports, records and general ledgers, preparing budgets and performing general bookkeeping. Salary is in the $40,000 - $44,000 range depending on experience. This is a remote opportunity with periodic meetings in the office so we are seeking candidates who are capable and comfortable working primarily from home.

- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:- Prepare corporate yearly budgets
- Prepare monthly statement of cash flow
- Book payroll related journal entries bi-weekly, by the respective pay date
- Book garnishment and HSA entries as they are posted to the bank
- Prepare monthly commission reports for CFOs approval
- Prepare daily cash reports for the companys owner, CEO, CFO, Controller, Assistant Controller, and Treasury Manager
- Posts monthly install fee adjustments
- Ensure all entries are posted monthly
- Review and process requisitions into purchase orders
- Ensure assigned accounts are reconciled by a monthly date determined by the Controller
- Maintain unclaimed property notices, letters, checks, and communicating changes to the treasury manager
- Research payroll and budget variances
- Generate procurement accrual
- Download, format, and compile monthly and quarterly financial statements for presentation
- Complete various financial projects as set forth by the Assistant Controller or Controller
- Monitor department support tracking systems
