In short, The Buckeye Ranch raises hope.

The Opportunity

The incoming Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of The Buckeye Ranch—who will report to the CEO and foster strong partnerships with other executive team members—has an extraordinary opportunity to restore hope for countless children, youth, and families.

The incoming CFO will build on an increasing public recognition of mental health challenges, as well as rising momentum surrounding The Buckeye Ranch. Investing in mental health has rapidly grown as a priority in our community, and The Buckeye Ranch has received enthusiastic support from donors and government sources to pursue new initiatives. The organization was also recently selected to serve as the Care Management Entity for east Franklin County as part of OhioRISE (Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence). With new funding and new community roles, The Buckeye Ranch is poised to expand, meet the ever-growing demand for mental health services, and lead efforts to coordinate care for children with complex needs.

Further, the CFO will play a pivotal role in steering continued growth by helping to chart future programmatic and infrastructural investments and visualize programs that meet the dynamic needs of Ohio’s children, youth, and families. The ideal candidate, then, is a strategic thinker: one who can wed a keen understanding of the organization’s financial position with an innovative, growth-oriented mindset to propel the organization forward in a fiscally responsible way.

The Buckeye Ranch has distinguished itself through decades of service to tens of thousands of children, youth, and families. The new Chief Financial Officer, as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, will sustain and elevate this powerful legacy.
