We are looking for a Chartered Accountant who is ICAS, ICAEW or ACCA qualified with a background in either Internal or External audit focused activities. You will work for a large-scale Financial Services company in this role where you will have a broad overview of business activities.

As an Internal Audit function their principal mission is to support the sustainable growth of the business and to support the core business in its sales and commercial development agenda.

Your key responsibilities will include;

• Delivering audit work and affecting audit deliverables, you will action specific aspects of the Audit Plan and audit outputs in line with methodology and quality requirements.
• Supporting the development of the Audit Plan, owning stakeholder relationships to generate valuable audit insights.
• Developing an understanding of the Business Strategy and Business Objectives to focus work on the highest risks.

We are looking for ambitious and motivated staff with the following experience:

• Educated to degree level with a relevant professional qualification within accounting, audit and risk management disciplines.
• Experience in internal/external audit and using these activities to add client and commercial value.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to link audit activities to the long-term vision of the business.
• Analytical and logical mind to understand the range of issues faced by the business and to advise the business with a view to sustainable growth.
• Uses a combination of communication skills, influencing skills, project management skills and the ability to add value to support activities.
