SENIOR CREDIT RISK MANAGER

£75,000- £85,000 + PENSION + BONUS

A very successful financial lending institution is recruiting a new Senior Credit Risk Manager in their New Customer Profitability & Analytics team. The role will involve leading a team that sits between the acquisitions and credit risk teams.

They are a leading digital consumer finance provider in the UK year on year and continue to expand their services and products they offer their customers leading to constant growth of the business.

THE ROLE

The role is a Senior Credit Risk Manager leading their New Customer Profitability & Analytics team.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing all pricing strategies across acquisition channels to increase profitability
• Identify and develop new customer opportunities to grow the portfolio
• Accountable for CBR/NPV impacts of products, initiatives, underwriting changes, and new credit products to advise business strategy and outlook
• Communicate the value being added by strategies to senior-level executives
• Develop and mentor a technical team of analysts to build a centre of excellence for strategy and analysis

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Excellent knowledge in SAS/SQL and Excel
• Experience working on credit risk strategies
• Experience in financial product valuation methodologies
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in leading a team is desirable
• A strong university degree in a numerate discipline

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• £75,000 - £85,000 base salary
