Treasury Accountant
International Leisure Organisation requires a Treasury Accountant to join an established team working hybrid working days
As a Treasury Accountant will be responsible for the management of the Treasury Management System for the EMEA region, managing business changes that have an impact on treasury and banking arrangements. This role will also be responsible for the maintenance of treasury controls and will assist the Treasury Manager in maintaining banking relationships and liaising with the Group Treasury and the Business generally.
Key responsibilities include:
Day to day management of the Treasury Department, including:
Daily reporting requirements,
Ensuring standing data is up to date
Monitoring of exceptions and reports, including data feeds from the banks and payments
Ensuring business changes are reflected completely and accurately in the system
Bank reconciliations
Bank mandates - keeping them up to date and making sure they are in sync with the corporate database
Monitoring the weekly cash flow forecasts across the EMEA region, working closely with the local general ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts payable and Tax teams to improve accuracy
Processing requests from banks
Point of contact/information for the business on treasury matters
Deputising for the Treasury Manager
Providing cover for Treasury Team Members, including managing banking transactions/payments
Working with the Treasury Manager in maintaining banking relationship, on-boarding of new acquisitions and dealing with divestitures
You will have the following experience to be considered for this role:
3-5 years treasury experience
Experience of using an ERP system
Strong excel skills i.e. must be bale to perform sum if's pivot tables and v. look ups
Ability to work as a part of a team as well on your own initiative
