RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a NYC-based global media company, seeks a Senior Associate - SEC Reporting for a remote/hybrid role. Responsibilities of the Senior Associate include:

• Senior Associate will be assisting in ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements and to ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Preparation of 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings including financial statements, footnote disclosures and MD&A to ensure timely and accurate filings
• Senior Associate handles documentation and testing of internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Assist in the valuation and expense recognition of equity-based compensation
• As a Senior Associate, you will assist with preparation of goodwill and identifiable intangible annual impairment test

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA completed or in progress
• 3+ years of accounting experience, public or private with SEC reporting experience preferred
• Experience preparing footnote disclosures and accounting memos
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced Proficiency in Excel
