ABOUT THE ROLE

The client is seeking to employ a trainee consultant - auditor to join our team of ISO Management System Consultant - Auditors. This opportunity initially casual, but leading to permanent growing position.

member to assist with management of our client's risk management system
compliance workload in various international standards including:
  • ISO 9001, Quality Management System;
  • ISO 14001, Environmental Management System;
  • ISO 45001, Occupational Health and Safety Management System;
  • ISO 27001, Information security Management System
  • ISO 22000 and HACCP, Food Safety Management System
The client is therefore seeking a motivated individual who wants to develop a career path and long-term employment in a nurtured and well-supported professional environment.

Our Trainee Management Systems Consultant - Auditors are required to:
  • Assist consultants to develop and write management system policy manuals, system procedures and work instructions.
  • Assist consultants to conduct internal and external audits.
  • Conduct required researches on standards, legislations and codes as required by consultants.
  • Assist the liaison with clients, including the providing of coaching and mentoring services (telephone and site visits, plus occasional extended inhouse client support placement).
Candidates will be assessed against a demonstrated capacity or potential to:
  • Be skilled in general knowledge of general risk assessment and the above listed business risk management system standards and legislations;
  • Quickly learn how to apply the above standards to a wide range of business activities, processes and industries;
  • Undertake detailed process analysis, evaluation and documentation;
  • Establish a high level of rapport with a wide range of client personnel.
  • Be well disciplined, planned and organised.

Applicants should have a mature level of work and life experience, with previous exposure to ISO Management Systems being desirable, though not essential with the right person.

Attendance to formal external training should be expected, in addition to the internal company's coaching and mentoring from existing staff.

The preferred applicant will likely have a tertiary education, with excellent
communication skills, including process documentation and report writing skills as being essential.

The suitability of an applicant's personal qualities and attributes will also be highly valued as part of the selection process, in addition to technical competency, skill and education. Applicants should also be:
  • An Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or in progress towards such;
  • Prepared to undertake occasional ex-Adelaide regional or interstate travel for short periods;
  • In possession of a valid drivers' license and a reliable vehicle.
