Do to excessive workload and secondments I'm looking to recruit 2 Management Accountants on Hybrid working contracts

My client is a large Public Sector organisation with sites across Wales.

This is an outstanding opportunity for 2 experienced Management Accountants to join this leading Public Sector organisatiion, initially on 12m FTC's.

As the Management Accoountant you will provide high level professional technical/specialist expertise and advice as part of a professional enabling service which is involved in the delivery and improvement of enabling services to develop and support the organisation and its partners in corporate compliance, planning, performance, policy and strategy.

Your role will include;

• You will be involved in the management of large projects or small less complex programmes of work.
• You will analyse and interpret a range of complex information and communicate this to others.
• You will provide in-depth technical/specialist knowledge across the organisation and upon which others will rely.
• You will influence the work of others through your knowledge and decision making, the impact of which will be both internal and external.
• You will undertake research as required and will produce documents that provide advice, guidance or opinion which others will use or act upon.
• You will be responsible for authorising invoices and the procurement of goods and services in accordance with internal procedures.
• You will be responsible for identifying and managing reputational risks.
• You will be involved in the development of organisation policy and may contribute to the development of strategy.
• You will take responsibility for the safe and effective use of organisational equipment and information.

Profile

You will have a recognised qualification, degree or equivalent experience in accountancy.

You will have substantial relevant experience gained from working in a number of different organisations or in different roles within an organisation.

You will have advanced technical/specialist knowledge in your field with the ability to think strategically.

You will keep up to date on advances and changes within your field with the ability to interpret and apply updated knowledge as appropriate.

You will have analytical skills enabling you to analyse and interpret a wide range of complex information.

You will have good inter-personal skills and able to develop and maintain good relationships and networks.

You will demonstrate good mentoring skills.

Job Offer

An initial 12 month FTC (may be extended or turn perm for the right person)

Salary up to £43,000 per annum

Hybrid working. Currently home based, but you will phase to a 1 day a week in the office at some point in 2022.
