Client Details
This business in the market leader in their sector and due to continued growth it is a really exciting time to join them, offering ongoing hybrid working arrangements. Our partner have a solid accountancy function as the Assistant Management Accountant you will be working within a large stable accountancy team based in Flintshire, overseeing the Management Accounts function of a small division reporting to the Finance Manager.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant include:
- Produce monthly management accounts and reconciliations for one or more Group entity's
- Gaining overall understanding of the operation of the Finance function.
- Cashflow forecasts
- Co-ordinate Divisional queries
- To produce relevant VAT returns for review and consolidation
- Complete standardised information packs to assist Finance Directors of the relevant divisions
- Adhoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager
Profile
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will require the following:
- Experience working within a similar role or office experience considered
- Good communication skills
- Strong understanding of credits and debits within a finance capacity
- Great organisation and task management
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Be within a commutable distance of Flintshire
- Ability to work at pace within a high volume environment
- Previous experience within an industrial or construction industry - Ideal
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Studiers preferred (Full study supprt on offer!)
