We are a leading, purely fee based, Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). We provide a full range of financial planning services, from financial health checks to advice about investments, pensions, tax planning and employee benefits.
Job PurposeTo manage MFP's approach to and use of Platforms, Products, and Planning tools, within the context of regulated financial advice, to ensure that the firm is able to deliver suitable product advice to its clients and do so in a highly efficient way which provides an excellent client service
Role & Responsibilities
Analyst within Private Client proposition team, responsible for:
- To manage and maintain the firm's due diligence for product panels including pensions, investment bonds, EIS, VCT, BR products etc.
- To manage and maintain the firm's due diligence for investment platforms.
- To oversee the firm's use of financial planning tools within the advice journey, including A2R, Cashflow, Protection quotes etc.
- To maintain market awareness of technical, product and technological innovations such that the firm can continually provide services in the most efficient and suitable manner.
- To act as subject matter expert on all areas of responsibility and liaise with planning, operations, investment, and compliance teams where relevant.
- To manage service offerings in niche advice areas such as US Persons, Cash Management, Islamic Finance
- Present as a technical expert to internal audiences on all areas of responsibility
- Good awareness of the market and regulatory environment for retail financial advice
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across teams with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of effective governance structures and strong organisational skills
- A strong desire to succeed and to contribute to a high performing business with the aim of being 'best in class'.
