Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to join our key Property and Housing client who is situated in Bedford and are looking to bolster their progressive finance team by recruiting an Accounts Receivable Team Leader. The successful candidate will report directly into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for a team of 4 on a day to day basis.

They have a vast network of customers and suppliers within the property and housing sector and are taking the market by storm. They are a progressive unit who are always looking to improve their already brilliant team.

Description

The responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Team Leader:

  • Line Management of 3 Accounts Receivable Clerk's
  • Assessing training and developments
  • Setting KPI's
  • Overseeing the groups credit function
  • Effective monthly close down
  • Marinating up to date procedures
  • To ensure excellent service both to internal and external customers
  • Preparing monthly reports
  • Driving forward system improvements
  • Monthly reviews of aged debts
  • Analysis of inter-company billing
  • Reviewing process improvements
  • Preparation of year end accounts

Profile

The Accounts Receivable Team Leader:

  • Will have a minimum of 3 years experience within an Account receivable function
  • Will have intermediate to advance excel skills including being able to set up and use Vlookups
  • Will have excellent communication skills
  • Will have experience reconciling bank accounts
  • Will be comfortable managing multiple deadlines
  • Be confident speaking to stake holders
  • Will have a keen eye for detail
  • Will be a true self starter
