Job Details

To undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. To manage the Finance Managers and Finance Assistants ensuring production of complete, accurate & timely management information.

Description

  • Manage Finance Team in delivering accurate, timely accounting information
  • Manage all accounting operations including AP,AR GL and revenue recognition.
  • Production of Monthly Management Reports
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and forecasts.
  • Production and consolidation of audit information.
  • Manage balance sheet ensuring discrepancies are resolved monthly
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Liaise with bank, set up DD mandates, manage bankline.
  • Identify the needs and support the development of Finance systems.
  • Production of financial information to aid decision making.
  • Develop and document financial processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Manage the accuracy of monthly VAT reports.
  • Consolidate & maintain the Group Fixed Asset schedule
  • Update & maintain the Group lease liability schedule.
  • Manage the integration of new contracts.
  • Extend the principles of Internal Auditing to other Finance systems.
  • Manage the financial reports within Elan CRM system.
  • Reconciliation of Direct Debit memberships to bank statements.
  • Manage Payroll and Pension Scheme
  • Reconciliation of profit share agreements, management fees and utility benchmarking mechanisms.

Profile

  • Ideally charity experience but not a necessity

  • Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE)
  • Wide finance exposure
  • Broad experience
