This client is actively seeking a highly skilled, determined, and motivated team member who will be accountable for Operational Risk and Compliance within Strategic Operations.

Description

  • The identification of risks & issues that affect Operations and agree business owners, being conscious that some of these may need reporting to the Board
  • Ensuring all risks & issues are logged including correct classification of the impact and likelihood
  • Working collaboratively with Operations risk owners and leads to ensure regular and timely updates to all risks & issues
  • Developing action plans for each risk & issue to ensure it is sufficiently mitigated
  • Hosting forums to discuss Operational risk & issue profile, gain wider perspective and understanding across Operations
  • Acting as the point person in the coordination of Operations Audits
  • Ensuring that any compliance monitoring or audit findings are implemented by business areas

Profile

A strong candidate will have the following:

  • Formal training in Risk Management such as IRM Credits supported by UKAS accreditation or equivalent along with ITIL4 Managing Professional credits.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, working with a team both on site and remotely, and strict deadline and expectation management.
  • Extensive experience in risk & compliance identification, mitigation and management.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry frameworks and best practices such as ISO, CMMI, ITIL etc.
  • Experience of optimising and implementing new risk & compliance operational approaches and frameworks.
  • Extensive experience of stakeholder management of customers, Service Providers and Energy Industry participants
