Page Personnel is partnering with a successful accountancy firm based in Southampton who are looking for a Senior Revenue Controller to join their finance team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a successful accountancy firm based in Southampton who have seen rapid growth in the last 12 months. They require travel to their offices.

Description

As the Senior Revenue Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Raising credit notes as required by the Directors/Fee Earners
  • Follow-up on time sheets to ensure that Directors/Fee Earners keep them up to date.
  • Proactive management of the billing process
  • Produce relevant financial reports to Directors/Fee Earners as and when requested
  • Work closely with Directors/Fee Earners and Finance /Credit Control regarding aged debtors and on occasion speak to clients directly regarding outstanding debt
  • Arrangement of internal transfers of fees when money has been paid into incorrect accounts
  • Oversee the billing process for the Occupier & Planning & Development teams.
  • Work closely with revenue controllers/business support ensuring all billing requirements and deadlines are achieved for the Occupier & Planning & Development teams.
  • Oversee passthrough costs, POs, SCAs, inter-company journals and aged debt for Occupier and Planning & Development teams.
  • Oversee WIP, forecasting and Mid-Month Flash reporting for Occupier and Planning & Development teams

Profile

To be successful for the Senior Revenue Controller role, you must:

  • Proven Billing Coordinator experience essential
  • Ideally have an Accounting qualification (AAT or similar)
  • Previous working knowledge of preferred or other time recovery solution.
  • Good knowledge of Excel (formulae, pivot tables, Vlookups minimum) and working knowledge of other MS packages
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience in operating Work in Progress (WIP) & Salesforce
