An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading professional services business in Macclesfield due to continued growth and expansion. This organisation have a well know name and are a market leader in their sector. They have purpose built offices in Macclesfield and offer a fantastic office environment with a number of on site amenities.

Description

The Accounts Assistant role is initially a 6 month contact and will offer progression opportunities for the right candidate. You will be required to work at least 2 days in the Macclesfield office with the rest remotely.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the production of accurate reconciliations and analysis to support the Balance Sheet. Including liaising with business areas to understand and clear items in a timely manner.
• Accurately produce and process journals to assist in the production of accounts
• Assist in the production of Annual Statutory Accounts.
• Assist and prepare and provide accurate and timely financial data, where appropriate, for inclusion in the financial control process.
• Analyse data to help support understanding and challenge accuracy.
• Suggest areas for improvement and continuously improve key processes for controls, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Be studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA/Recent Accounts Graduate or be Qualified by experience

Ideally Have experience of Posting Journals and accounts up to trial balance

Have worked in an accounts assistant role previously

Be able to consider a 6 month contract with at least 2 days a week in Macclesfield
