Description

The Digital Internal Controls Manager's responsibilties include, but are not limited to;

• Delivery of the IT part of the internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) implementation programme,
• Remain on top of scoping the IT and digital systems, interfaces, and changes relevant for the ICFR programme,
• Define processes so that internal controls are factored into major change programmes and throughout the lifecycle of outsourcing arrangements,
• Develop and execute the IT part of the ICFR testing programme,
• Ensure IT controls are designed, performed and documented to mitigate risksin a rapidly growing global business with a significant ecommerce infrastructure,
• Track and monitor performance of controls to ensure they are executed in a timely fashion,
• Work with the IT and Multichannel teams to identify improvements in IT controls, flag systems and software changes in advance and ensure controls are designed robustly,
• Drive maturity and efficiency's including automation,
• Ensure IT control deficiencies are tracked and remediated in agreed timelines.

Profile

The successful Digital Internal Controls Manager should have;

• A minimum of seven years operational IT audit/assurance experience in an environment that provides exposure to sophisticated information systems audit techniques, network security, technology infrastructure, ecommerce infrastructure, software development, project management
• Understanding of concepts related to information systems audit, including security and control risks such as logical and physical access security, change management, information security, business recovery practices and network technology
• Have a questioning and inquisitive mind - not afraid to ask questions or challenge convention, nor to drive improvements and efficiencies as appropriate
• Takes personal responsibility and accountability for their work - you will own everything reported
• Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and an understanding of the general compliance requirements related to information technology
• The ideal candidate would have implemented IT general controls in industry following time spent in practice in IT assurance work
