A well-established business in Kempton Park is seeking a Finance Assistant.
The incumbent will be assisting with administration in the finance department in his/her capacity as the Financial Assistant; reporting to the Financial Administrator. The incumbent must exercise judgment in selecting and applying established procedures correctly and in determining when to escalate to the Financial Administrator.
*SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:*

* Degree or Diploma in Finance
* 3 years experience required in the General Finance assistance required.
* Experience gained in payroll, asset register, budgets collaboration of information and assisting with internal and external audits essential
* Computer literate
*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*
*Key Performance Area *

* Assist in managing receivable activities namely; sending statements, attend queries, Debt collection, Customer reference check and provide feedback to management as required.
* Manage Petty Cash.
* Assist with payroll administration
* Assist with monthly Balance sheet Reconciliations and preparing journals
* Prepare and maintain the Asset Register
* Assist in Procurement process-BEE Compliance and other audits
* Assist in maintaining all financial records and files as per the company policies
* Assist in coordinating budget information
* Identify and escalate accounting/related discrepancies
* Assist in preparation and collating information for External and Internal Audits
