Payroll Verification Clerk
Great Entry Level opportunity for Full Time, Temp to Hire, Payroll Verification Clerks with a wonderful organization in the Enfield area. First Shift hours of 8-4:30 or 8:30-5:00. Some office experience would be preferred, but will consider applicants with CNA, Homecare or retail experience. Must be Customer Service focused and patient to work with clients to process and verify the weekly payroll. There will be heavy phone interaction, as well as email and data entry responsibilities.

- Monitor and track individual client self-directed activities innovatively using various systems software
- Collaborate with state agencies to communicate any client supports or technical assistance
- Responsible for accurately verifying and inputting timesheets
- Accountable for processing checks and payroll reports
- Responsible for customer service regarding payroll and other related matters with respect for a diverse population
- Contribute innovative ideas for system enhancements
- Perform any other data entry tasks and special projects as needed or assigned.
- Collaborating with other staff to support department needs in an environment of constant change
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous data entry work experience required. Previous experience in payroll, accounts payable or automated accounting systems preferred.
- Experience in automated accounting systems preferred.
