As the Senior Manager, Internal Audit, you will perform internal audits and special projects by providing independent, objective assurance, education and consulting services to promote an effective control environment. Your mission will be to execute the audit plan and timely reports to evaluate the level of internal control applied on processes to assess its design, operating effectiveness and efficiency.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Lead, coordinate and supervise the audit activities, including monitoring audit scope and objectives
• Document audit work and review other employee performance in accordance with the company and the Institute of Internal Auditors standards to support audit findings and recommendations; ensure objectives are achieved and provide quality assurance
• Continuously review risk assessment activities to ensure the most critical risks to the company are being covered by audits
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to promote constructive change
• Collaborate with management to establish and follow up on timely, appropriate action plans
• Coordinate with other audit and non-audit teams in project management, problem resolution, communication and adherence to department policies and procedures

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
• 5 years auditing, consulting or finance experience
• Experience supervising audit projects
• Strong knowledge of SOX regulations and COSO framework
• Knowledge of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and audit risk assessment techniques
• Advanced knowledge of SEC rules and regulations, fraud detection techniques and industry

It'd be great if you also have:

• 10 years auditing, consulting or finance experience
• Prior public accounting experience in a U.S. company
