A well-known International Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Distribution Company requires the above to be responsible for the full accounting functions of the company assisting the Financial Director with all related financial duties.
*Minimum requirements for the role:*

* A BComm Finance or Accounting or related degree is essential for this role.
* Previous experience working on Accpac is preferred for this role but not essential.
* Previous experience having worked in an Accountant or related financial role is essential.
* Previous experience having worked within a manufacturing or distribution or related environment is preferred for the role.
*The successful candidate will be responsible for:*

* Working closely with the Financial Director and Managing Director of the Company regarding all financial duties.
* Raising Customer invoices per month.
* Generating Supplier purchase orders and reconciling Customer accounts on a monthly basis.
* Capturing and reconciling Supplier invoices per month.
* Performing full accounting functions, capturing and processing information on Accpac.
* Performing intercompany transaction and reconciliations.
* Preparing documentation for Supplier payments and loading them for release by Directors.
* Processing journals (provisions/accruals) etc.
* Handling the full function for creditors and debtors, taking the accounts to trial balance.
* Balancing statements and journals.
* Reconciling all Suppliers monthly and balancing the ledger.
* Loading Suppliers and maintaining the asset register.
* Managing and controlling the payroll function ensuring that all salaries are paid promptly and efficiently.
* Checking returns for all benefits and authorising payment.
