I am currently recuriting an exciting Financial Accounting Manager role based in City of London. This role will provide a high quality and comprehensive financial accounting, reporting and statutory/regulatory financial
compliance service.

Our client is a fast pasted Public Sector Transport and Rail Organisation based in City of London.
Description
This Financial Accounting Manager role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Management of a Finance Systems Accountant
- Provision of group, statutory and regulatory reports to required deadlines
- Timely and accurate update of all ledgers to ensure quality and integrity of finance system
- Quality and integrity of finance systems and support of users
- Production of balance sheet reconciliations to required deadlines
- Company accounts are accurate and prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards
- and policies
- Timely and accurate provision of budget, forecasts and outturn
- Compliance with statutory, tax and legal requirements within area of responsibility
- Compliance with Group Oracle operational guidelines
Profile
This Financial Accounting Manager role would compliment an applicant with:
- Full Accountancy Qualification
- Strong Financial Accountancy Background
- Experience of rail or similar transport industry
- Internal and External Stakeholder experience
