About the Organisation
The Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) was established on 1 January 2019 to oversee major transport projects in Victoria, known as ‘Victoria's Big Build'. It is made up of 5 project teams:

* Level Crossing Removal Project
* North East Link Program
* West Gate Tunnel Project
* Major Road Projects Victoria
* Rail Projects Victoria

MTIA collaborates with project offices the Department of Transport ensure major construction activities and disruptions are coordinated across the transport network, including plans to keep people moving through major works periods whilst also providing governance, legal, commercial, IT & PMO solutions that meet the needs of the project offices it supports.
About the opportunity As MTIA's next great Senior Business Analyst, you will lead, guide and manage a small team to develop and disseminate key insights for MTIA's Human Resource Capital project, procurement & contract management systems, collaboration tools and change management processes. Such experience will also assist you in leading business and IT workshops, documenting vital processes and workflows, building business cases and assisting in articulating business needs analysis and solution options for a range of key transport infrastructure projects which will change the way Victorians travel for years to come!
Your strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills will enable you to engage closely with all aforementioned MTIA Project Groups and government departments, notably the Department of Jobs, Precincts & Regions, the Department of Transport and CenITex to identify business process improvement opportunities and be fully engaged throughout the lifecycle from ideation to implementation and business as usual support.
Your attention to detail will ensure that BA artefacts (either created by the MTIA team or external parties) are planned and delivered as a fit for purpose and industry best practice solution. Furthermore, you will thrive when leading the development and implementation of the BA Practice Operating Model within MTIA's Information Technology Strategy, with the support of a collaborative & proactive senior management team.

* Expertly experienced in leading a business analysis portfolio, including requirements analysis within a complex multi-faceted organisation, distilling complex processes and ideas from non-technical stakeholders into written proposals and process maps to outline future activities for deeper analysis
