Our client is urgently looking for a Management Accountant with Min 3 5 years experience at their Sandton Branch. You are perfect for this position if you have your BCom Accounting Degree in combination with your CIMA qualification and ideally coming from the Education sector.

Minimum Requirements *
* Grade 12.
* BCom Finance/Accounting.
* 5 years relevant post qualification experience.
* Minimum 3 years Management Accounting experience.
* Leadership skills.
* CIMA would be an advantage.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Gather and analyse financial information for internal use.
* Support budgeting and funding.
* Assist the company in managing its investment portfolio.
* Assume responsibility of accounting procedures.
* Evaluate the companys performance using key data.
* Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making.
* Conduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimise risk.
* Advice on problems and suggest improvements.
* Supervise lower-level personnel.
*Attributes*
* An ability to grasp the views of management very quickly.
* An ability to prepare and present the desired information as early as possible.
* An understanding of the role of functional managers and top executives of an organisation.
* Thorough knowledge of principles of management and its application in management practice.
* A balanced outlook of all levels of management executives.
* The ability to think and exchange opinions with top management about issues that focus on the profitability and growth of the company.
