Well if so, an exciting new opportunity to work for the UKs leading independent providers of discretionary wealth management has arisen in our clients modern Newcastle office.

This role is a specialist role that will have you overseeing the Risk Framework within Operations, ensuring compliance around risk framework, external regulations, internal policies including the mitigation and management of associated risks. In particular, a focus on 1st line of defence risk and building departmental Risk Assessments.

The role:

This role will be in the Operations Team, this is a specialist role where you will have ownership and responsibility for Risk ad Control Framework in Operations. You will undertake day to day monitoring, escalating and identification of any key risks and control ensuring compliance with relevant external regulations and internal policies.

To succeed you will need:

-Experience of Risk and Control (specifically exposure to 1st line defence risk)

-Exposure of supporting and developing internal and external stakeholder relationships

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Ability to coach and develop others

This is a fixed term 6-month contract. This opportunity will give you:
