Our client is a specialist lending division of a UK merchant bank. They are very well regarded in their market sector and have an excellent brand.

They are currently looking for an experienced credit analyst to join their underwriting team. Head office is based outside Glasgow, however this is a home based role, with the requirement to travel occasionally to the office. Ideally the successful candidate will be located in the North of England, or in Scotland.

You will be assessing new business proposals for business loans and asset finance facilities, for a range of SME businesses throughout the UK.

We are looking for individuals who have experience of underwriting business lending transactions, with the ability to assess financial information - company accounts, cashflow information, etc. You will have excellent attention to detail, be well organised and self motivated. You may have a background in banking, asset finance or other area of business funding.
