Senior Accountant

Vaco is looking for an energetic and collaborative accounting professional with a strong public company or large company background to join a highly regarded fortune 500 company. Our client is growing through acquisitions and is looking for a Senior Accountant to help facilitate the company growth here in Phoenix.

Ideal Profile:

• CPA/CMA license completed or in the works of pursuing required
• 3-5+ years of finance and accounting experience required
• Experience working in a large company environment
• Construction, manufacturing, or related industry experience a plus
• Ability to work well independently and strong problem solver
• Ability to work on-site 5x days a week

Responsibilities:

• Journal entries, accruals, B/S reconciliations, etc.
• Partnering with operations
• Produce financials - monthly, quarterly, annually
• Annually planning and forecasting
• Provide help and support for budgets, forecasts and audits
• Perform standard and ad hoc analyses for management
• Production of monthly reporting
• Compile, analyze and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Work with plant personnel to track, record and reconcile daily plant performance and production
