Role Overview:
The Asst. Product Manager - GI & Respiratory is responsible for product management of - GI & Respiratory products and support clinical activities in his/her region. Develops and Maintains relationship with all the HCPs (Health Care Practitioners)/ users. Supports to achieve the GI & Respiratory Product mix in his/her region.
Responsibilities:
- Attend clinical procedures and assist clinicians and hospital staff in the effective use of Olympus products
- Conduct in-service (On the Job) training and support sales force.
- Ensure engagement of customers by being the go-to person in complex cases
- Develop an in-depth technical understanding of the Olympus GI & Respiratory product portfolio and their application
- Co-ordinate and conduct product demonstrations and clinical application to support the sales team achieve sales targets
- Provide product and clinical application training after installation to customers
- Provide ongoing clinical support to existing customers including high level technical support to clinical leaders
- Maintain relevant customer information within CRM system
- Making accurate, comprehensive product offerings to customers.
- Work with the sales operations team by providing accurate and comprehensive product specifications and compliance statements for quotations and tender participation.
- To discover best resources to market products, attend industry conventions, CMEs and events. Contribute to related professional organizations.
- Organize product demonstrations and workshops for clients and end-users on regular basis and effective demo management including coordination with logistics and operations teams.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by interacting directly with customers to improve the product and understand the customers' needs and products future direction.
- End to end support to assigned HCP's, managing expectations in line with organizational policies
- Application support for focused HCP oriented initiatives, marketing activities, events and conferences
- Liaison and networking with key stake holders internally and externally to strengthen marketing propositions
- Vendor Management for successful conduction of in-house Marketing activities
- Development of brochures, standee, booth designs and other marketing collaterals for marketing communication for the strategic initiatives, campaigns, and activities
- Gather information about key marketing activities done by competitors
- Gather the Information about own products and competitors' products
- Internal sales training on key products and applications.
Minimum Requirement:
Education Qualification:
- MBA Marketing with graduation in science (B.E/B. Tech (Biomedical/ Biotechnology) or B. Sc/ B. Pharma preferably)
Experience Required:
- 6-8 years of experience in marketing/product management roles preferably in medical devices or pharma
- Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers with result-oriented approach
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), time management and relationship building skills required.
- Must maintain honesty, integrity, and excellent work ethics.
- Microsoft office skills are required
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
