Job Purpose To assist the Enforcement Manager to monitor and enforce JSE regulations and rules in line with the requirements of the Financial Market Act to mitigate risks and protect JSE reputation and integrity
*Result Delivery*

* Contribute to crafting of departmental business plan to ensure delivery of focus areas for the year in support of the business strategy
* Apply cost effectiveness principles in planning and delivery to contribute to achievement of divisional financial targets
* Provide input into the formalisation for the divisional budget
* Apply cost effectiveness principles in everyday delivery to contribute to achievement of departmental financial targets
* Deliver to standard by ensuring all investigation evidence and reports are structured according to the standards set by the JSE so that administrative consistency is adhered to and all results are sustainably delivered on time and to standard
* Provide specialist input and assistance to the Enforcement Manager on systems and forensic investigation processes and techniques

*Stakeholder Relationship Management*

* Assist the Enforcement Manager to build strategic JSE / Industry/ Global network of thought leaders and relationships utilising social media, attending and presenting at conferences and training interventions
* Engage and consult with various internal clients on regulation matters to understand their needs and assist then to understand regulatory matters to minimise risk and ensure compliance

*Process Management*

* Manage own delivery against with Enforcement Manager set plan and set timelines, identify obstacles to delivery and take appropriate action where required
* Specify requirements to refine and/or create systems to overcome inadequacies and proactively avoid breaches of the JSE rules
* Provide input and consult with Enforcement Manager on the development and/or enhancement of new rules to improve the JSE's overall objective of monitoring derivative members
* Conduct allocated investigations to ensure regulatory and market credibility by following agreed planning and scoping of investigations as set by Enforcement Manager to ensure adequate investigatory focus
* Gather, control and secure information as supporting evidence generated during investigations to utilise during enforcement process
* Conduct information and admission seeking interviews to draw conclusions on matters under investigation
* Write draft factual finding report for the Enforcement Manager to enable the Enforcement Manager to present the report to the Director: Market Regulation to make a decision on if further legal action must be taken against the individuals/members under investigation
* Assist the Enforcement Manager to implement enforcement decision of Director: Market Regulation
* Assist the Enforcement Manager to escalate all matters of market abuse to FSB, providing assistance where required as part of the investigatory process
* Facilitate client complaints in line with the JSE's rules regarding client complaint handling procedures and escalate unresolved complaints to the Enforcement Manager for further escalation to the Company Secretarial of the JSE

Essential Qualification:* *BComm or LLB and CFE
Preferred Qualification:* *Post graduate in forensics
Registrations:* *ACFE , SAIFM , ICFP advantageous but not essential
1-3 years' experience in capital markets
1-3 years' experience in complex financial and sensitive investigations
