An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to work for this hugely successful global company. Your duties will be as follows:

  • Processing end to end payroll for the UK and 2 overseas offices
  • International and shadow payroll processing
  • Liaising with HMRC and 3rd parties as and when required
  • Responsible for payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Looking at payroll processes and looking at ways of improving them
  • Responsible for starters/leavers paperwork
  • Dealing with one-off payments, season ticket and bicycle loans
  • Checking payroll changes and ensuring everything is correct
  • Dealing with tax uploads
  • Responsible for sickness absence information
  • Managing statutory absence including maternity and shared parental information

You will have excellent organisational skills and be self-motivated. Strong Word and Excel skills are essential. Ideally you will have payroll processing experience but candidates with strong finance skills who are interested in payroll will also be considered.
