We are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant to join an established team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join 10 experienced team members, within a global shared service centre in the heart of Newcastle. Our goal is to deliver payroll excellence through accuracy, innovation and professionalism.

Responsibilities can vary greatly in nature and duration, which helps to provide a diverse working environment.

You will make an impact in this role by:

This is a multifaceted position, processing end to end payroll for UK, India and UAE. Your day to day role could include the following:
  • Payroll Processing in line with the current legislation
  • International and Shadow Payroll Processing
  • Interaction with HMRC and 3rd Parties
  • Payroll Reconciliations and Reporting
  • Process analysis and improvement
  • Delivering expert customer service

We encourage our payrollers to demonstrate drive and motivation, a willingness to keep learning about the industry and a desire to deliver an excellent service.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to self-manage workload
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Strong team-working skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and be proactive
  • Demonstrated payroll processing experience
  • Understanding of payroll legislation and processes
