Through a sustained period of growth, we now have a vacancy for a Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will provide a high-quality commercial business partner service to the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team to ensure that business objectives are delivered.

Responsible for delivery of transparency of performance, financial planning, and improvement to controls and processes in the business units.

Act as a key member of the finance team ensuring that key opportunities and issues affecting performance are identified and acted upon.

Key

Responsibilities:

Working to all WB Power Services Ltd ISO9001/14001/45001 policies and procedures.Undertake month end and year end activities in relation to the business units so that performance is reported accurately against budget, prior years, and plans.Act as partner to Directors for these business areas to enable delivery against agreed objectives.Create transparency around key issues and KPIs so that business performance, opportunities and issues are fully understood, communicated, and acted upon.Improve processes, controls, and systems usage / compliance in these business areas in partnership with the business unit Directors, FD and Financial Controller.Creation of budgets and financial plans for the business units.Work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure that end to end P&L, cash and control performance is maximised.Act as the finance lead for these parts of the business in short, there is nothing about performance, opportunities and issues in these business units that is not on the radar.Work effectively across different business areas to ensure that business objectives, policies and procedures are understood, and strong partnerships are created to facilitate delivery.Provide insightful management information to the Finance Director and senior management team so that performance, opportunities, and issues are fully understood and actionable.Undertake ad hoc projects as requested.The above list is not exhaustive, is subject to change and we may ask you to undertake other dutiesThe person:

Qualified accountant with 2+ years experience of acting in a commercially facing finance role.Highly commercial approach focused on maximisation of profitability and cashflow while meeting business requirements.Natural builder of strong working partnerships across all levels and functions of the businessEffective manager of key internal stakeholder relationships.Strong Excel and systems skills with experience of working with ERP systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.Strong communication skills across various formats.What do we offer:
