The position requires an individual who is ACA/ACCA qualified, with a few years PQE, who has a thorough working knowledge of FRS & IFRS, with strong interpersonal skills and great communication skills.

The role:
- Manage the audit process, demonstrating a proactive approach during preparation and throughout the process, whilst managing the relationship with the audit partners
- Prepare and submit the management accounts and forecasting for a number of entities
- Manage, train and develop a small team
- Responsible for the statutory accounting and reporting for the relevant business units
- Ensure accounting standards and regulations are adhered to
- Continuously update controls and processes in place
- Manage ongoing legal entity reduction and rationalisation
- Involvement in ad hoc projects,, key initiatives, and tracking/reporting
The person:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a few years PQE
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and technically sound statutory knowledge
- Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Able to adapt your approach and style to your audience
- Highly organised, proactive in your approach and calm under pressure
- Able to take ownership, work with accuracy and ensure deadlines are met
- Previous team management experience
- Great stakeholder management experience
