The Macquarie Asset Management division has an opportunity for a highly motivated, team-oriented and ambitious individual to join the Fund Management Team supporting the Private Credit business.

As a Manager within the London team, you will be contributing to the continued growth of the Private Credit business through the oversight and management of a suite of Fund products and Separately Managed Accounts from an operational, financial reporting, regulatory and client service perspective. You will form an integral part of a very successful Fund Management Team, delivering a high level of service to our stakeholders and clients.

In this role you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, engaging in the management of client and investor relationships and the oversight of several external service providers and other commercial counterparties. You will demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, contributing to the development of new products and mandates. You will help drive policy adherence across the team and ensure a robust risk management control framework is in place. You will also be able to think creatively and drive the implementation of process and platform improvements.

You will be involved in the treasury and liquidity management of the funds, including the optimisation of FX and hedging requirements and the management of investor drawdowns and distributions. You will be involved in ad hoc investor reporting as well as responding to individual questions or due diligence requests, including leading due diligence days for existing and prospective clients. You will also contribute to the management of the life-cycle of transactions, from the execution phase through to settlement, which will require you to have a thorough understanding of both the legal and operational aspects of deals.

You will contribute to the management of the team, demonstrating a willingness to guide junior team members and to aide their ongoing professional development.

Your technical competencies will enable you to deal with unique and varied fund structures and your experience and understanding of IFRS and multi-currency environments will be utilised in this role.

We require that you have strong prioritisation skills, being able to deliver within tight timelines, showing effectiveness in your planning and ensuring quality output. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be a highly motivated, proactive, and resilient individual.

You will demonstrate sound business judgement and possess strong interpersonal skills which will give you the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Your experience in a similar type of role, for example working on closed-end or open-ended private equity or debt funds or in loan operations, would be advantageous, although not essential.

Finally, you will be degree-educated, possess advanced Excel skills, and hold a formal accounting qualification with PQE.
