About the team & role
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Associate to understand more about the Risk LoS, working within the team that supports the Risk Executive implementing the Line of Service strategy.
Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the Risk strategy as part of a strong existing team reporting to the Partners who make up the Risk Exec.
Key activities could include
Supporting the execution of the Risk strategy and the key projects that underpin it
Preparing communications for the Risk practice including Currents posts, videos, livestreams and emails
Updating the Risk Google site to support and promote our strategy
Coordinating and preparing presentations to senior audiences for members of the Risk Exec
Contributing to the training agenda, working closely with the L&D team e.g. Evolve Digital series launching this Spring
Supporting the Markets and Services strategy e.g. being involved in scaling new proposition areas in the market
Supporting the People strategy e.g. the Diversity and Inclusion agenda, and Inspirational leadership
Supporting the Commercial strategy e.g. coordination of Enhanced Bid Reviews, supporting on pricing strategy and commercial upskilling
Being involved in the project management and design of key Risk meetings, such as the twice yearly Partner and Director meetings, and the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Working collaboratively with the other Risk leadership support teams to drive priorities.
Essential skills and experience
This role is likely to suit a Senior Associate with the following qualities and experience:
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with senior stakeholders
Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
A strong aptitude for learning new things
An interest in business strategy, the internal workings of PwC and working with leadership
Someone who is passionate about Risk/the Firm and making a difference
An interest in improving and changing things
This is a secondment/cycle of experience opportunity for approximately 12 months and the successful applicant will transition into the role as soon as possible depending on other commitments.
