Our client, operating in the food industry, is looking to recruit a commercially astute Finance Manager to join the team.
The company has doubled in size in the last couple of years with further growth planned for next year. This role is a key one for the business and will support the business to achieve its goals.

Produce monthly management accounts and associated detailed analysis in line with Group reporting deadlines.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations - including Bank, Payroll Control, Sundry Debtor & Creditor, HP, prepayments, accruals and other ad hoc balance sheet items.
Tracking and reporting on high volume customer and supplier claims including key supplier reconciliations.
Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register.
Submission of the month end debt reconciliation to the bank.
Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT Return.
Provision of data to auditors for the annual statutory tax computations.
Supporting the year end audit including production of lead schedules and sample data.
Preparation of the annual budget alongside the MD and divisional FD.
Monitor and manage the Company's financial control processes.
Provide meaningful financial and operational KPI information to the MD and senior operational staff.
Provision of cash flow forecasts to Group. Management of working capital including liaising with key customers and suppliers re financial and commercial terms.
Completion of ad-hoc analysis required to drive Company strategy and financial growth targets.

You will have a strong commercial focus with an excellent understanding of FRS102 and ideally a good understanding of IFRS principles. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable liaising with non finance personnel. You will take a pro active approach to work and enjoy a hands on role.
