What does a Finance Director within Valuedynamx do? 
The Finance Director is a critical role operating at a strategic level as part of the Valuedynamx Leadership Team, as the Finance Director you will manage and direct all company finances and will be accountable for delivering financial performance through insight-driven decision making. As a key finance business partner, you will ensure a solid foundation in terms of financial control, providing financial support to our key stakeholders.
You will lead a team responsible for complex data analysis, forecasting, overseeing accounts and budgets, and making strategic financial decisions that will promote long-term financial gain and inform the commercial direction of the business. You will drive the growth of the business organically and through acquisition, ensuring adequate funding is available to deliver on the ambition. 

Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:

  • You will act as the main point of financial contact for Valuedynamx taking responsibility for all finance-related areas, acting as a key member of the Finance leadership team
  • Taking overall accountabilities for all financial aspects of commercial plans and performance.
  • Supporting the Finance Leadership Team, you will ensure the timely and accurate reporting and delivery of the commercial strategy, business modelling and performance.
  • You will drive Valuedynamx Investments and Fundraising in collaboration with Group controllers (for the run rate and cash flow)
  • Manage the finance business partners and associated Finance team
  • You will nurture a commercial culture and approach through bids, performance dashboards, product reviews etc.
  • You will have final sign off all commercial and product pricing propositions across Valuedynamx and ownership of cost reduction, optimisation, and scalability projects.
  • Support growth initiatives, tracking commercial activities with client and product teams
  • Responsible for overseas finance operations of Valuedynamx Holdings including accounting records and accountable for the financial reports and entities.
  • Develop and evolve the global finance operation function of Valuedynamx to ensure processes are optimised and consistent across the Collinson business
  • Lead an operational management accounting team producing the management packs for each Valuedynamx entity and Valuedynamx Holding (consolidation)
  • Maintain and improve best practices across all Valuedynamx entities, driving an excellent culture, close to the business and the way Valuedynamx operates
  • Responsible for the external audit and internal audit queries

How will you make a difference as our Finance Director?   

  • Applicants will be insightful Finance Director ideally with multi-level global enterprise experience, gained within a complex matrix structure.
  • You MUST be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA with deep commercial knowledge and understanding of Finance delivery gained at a Senior Level.
  • You will be an exceptional leader, comfortable dealing with detail as well as the big picture, commercially aware, advising on the best path of growth and efficiencies for the business.
  • You will have a passion for building and delivering a cost-conscious-aware culture blended with a balanced pragmatism and an obligation to question, understand, and define.
  • Financially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and delivery levels.
  • A natural problem-solver who can make critical recommendations at pace, whilst embedding financial principles and controls within a high-pressured role.
  • Capable of building cross-functional relationships within distributed global teams.
  • Self-driven and constantly striving to improve solutions by working collaboratively striving for excellence and innovation in the pursuit of business growth and success.
  • Persuasive communication and presentation skills working with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs on a regional business scale.
  • The ability to build consensus and support whilst imposing good governance and controls.
  • A high comfort level with ambiguity, able to navigate challenging opinions with ease.
  • This role offers flexible home working blended with ad-hoc travel into our London office.
