Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with a prestigious organisation in the centre of Newcastle in their search for a Management Accountant.

The Role
The successful candidate will be able to carry out the following duties - do bear in mind that this is just a sample of the duties involved in the role:

• Participate in monthly management accounts
• Assisting preparation of monthly statutory accounts
• VAT Returns
• Manage a small finance team
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Assist in reforecasting and annual budget

The Person
The successful candidate will also be:

• A qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACCA accountant, or with many years of experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Able to show a great deal of initiative, and to manage their own workload
• Adept at managing data sets and getting into the detail
• Experienced in preparing statutory accounts

• This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) based in the offices in Newcastle City Centre
