Outsourcing Process Improvement and Automation LeadWe are searching for an experienced Outsourcing Process Improvement and Automation Lead

About the role:

Reporting to the Executive Board of the Outsourcing (OTS) practice [and to its Technology Supervisory Board], this is a key role which will help to enhance the appeal and value of the market propositions across the OTS practice as well as driving efficiency and improved margin into its existing client base. The role will lead the "Improve" component of the end to end OTS methodology and will include the following key

responsibilities:

To work with OTS Business Unit leaders on their core standard propositions taken to market across RSM. Through a combination of lean-driven, efficiency-focussed process changes and business-case approved automation, the role will enhance the value of these propositions in the market and allow the OTS business to be more price competitive. To work with existing client teams to identify opportunities for engagement margin improvement on existing client service provision. As above, this will be achieved through a combination of process change and automation. In each case, the role will require a robust business case developed in conjunction with finance, risk, technology and other stakeholders. The role will also work in conjunction with the OTS Administration team and the use of their Service Improvement Log.To work on client pitches as the OTS Improve lead, presenting the value of the role to prospective clients including initial proposals for process change and automation. To work closely with the engagement team on pitch pricing and in developing the gainshare pricing principles adopted by the OTS practice.

The RSM Outsourcing team is responsible for the delivery of bookkeeping and management reporting in both the UK and internationally, together with the preparation of statutory accounts and indirect tax returns for multi-jurisdictional clients and the project management of RSM International member firms in serving global clients.
The business deploys a range of technologies including NetSuite as its standard finance and accounting platform together with a range of third party tools to serve global clients.

About the ideal candidate:

Excellent track record in a BPO environment of identifying and implementing process improvement; lean and six sigma experience would be ideal in this respect. Strong understanding of automation opportunities within a BPO finance and accounting outsourcing environment including a track record in deploying robotic process automation to key sub-processes.A basic understanding of the value of artificial intelligence and machine learning in a BPO finance environment. A good understanding of the NetSuite platform would be ideal.Ability to build robust business cases for process and automation change in conjunction with key stakeholders and to drive through that change once approved. Good presentational skills in articulating the value proposition behind process change and automation to internal and client stakeholders. Excellent project management skills and competence in leading change.
