Outsourcing Process Improvement and Automation Lead
About the role:
Reporting to the Executive Board of the Outsourcing (OTS) practice [and to its Technology Supervisory Board], this is a key role which will help to enhance the appeal and value of the market propositions across the OTS practice as well as driving efficiency and improved margin into its existing client base. The RSM Outsourcing team is responsible for the delivery of bookkeeping and management reporting in both the UK and internationally, together with the preparation of statutory accounts and indirect tax returns for multi-jurisdictional clients and the project management of RSM International member firms in serving global clients.
The business deploys a range of technologies including NetSuite as its standard finance and accounting platform together with a range of third party tools to serve global clients.
About the ideal candidate:
Excellent track record in a BPO environment of identifying and implementing process improvement; lean and six sigma experience would be ideal in this respect. Strong understanding of automation opportunities within a BPO finance and accounting outsourcing environment including a track record in deploying robotic process automation to key sub-processes.A basic understanding of the value of artificial intelligence and machine learning in a BPO finance environment. A good understanding of the NetSuite platform would be ideal.Ability to build robust business cases for process and automation change in conjunction with key stakeholders and to drive through that change once approved. Good presentational skills in articulating the value proposition behind process change and automation to internal and client stakeholders. Excellent project management skills and competence in leading change.Flexible Working
