Pure are excited to be partnering with Hundred Houses Society on the recruitment of a Finance Manager. Hundred Houses Society are a not for profit housing association who hold a gold investors in people award and last year were accredited a Best Employers Eastern region silver award. This role will initially work under the guidance of the Head of Finance (until their planned retirement in 2023) and will take line management responsibility for a team of 3. The main accountabilities of the role are as follows - - Manage the routine finance functions ensuring targets are met or exceeded. - Prepare accurate financial information and review monthly management accounts with the Head of Finance and budget holders. - Oversee the preparation of and monitoring of budgets. - Prepare the quarterly and annual regulatory and funder returns. - Prepare annual financial statements. - Short term treasury management - Implement and develop new finance systems. - Managing, coaching and developing all finance team members - Implementing changes in financial practice arising from SORP and IFRS Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant with experience of business and financial planning and the ability to communicate across a range of audiences. Previous management experience is desirable but not essential.
