Job Overview

Assist the Accounts Manager with all aspects of the day to day accounts processes and any general office duties as required.

Main tasks

  • Post daily banking (Bacs and cheques) on to Sage50 Cloud
  • Match purchase invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders
  • Post purchase invoices onto Sage
  • Issue monthly customer statements/letters
  • Setting up and monitoring Standing Order/ Direct Debit payment plans
  • Check staff expenses
  • Match credit card statements/receipts
  • Open and distribute mail and assist with filing and the preparation of outgoing mail
  • Any other duties as required

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 1 years experience.
  • Previous experience of Sage would be advantageous
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • A good team player with a positive attitude
  • Be willing to learn and use other software packages appropriate to the role.
  • Confident and experienced in using Excel and other Microsoft office packages.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change

£18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
