MLC are working with a large Acute NHS Trust to recruit a deputy finance manager for a 6-month contract. This role will provide financial support to the Women's and Children's directorate.

Working under the Senior Finance Manager the successful candidate will take responsibility for month end reporting, forecasting and variance analysis. You will also regularly meet with budget holders and deal with any queries as they arise. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of year end accounts. This is a great opportunity to gain line management experience as the deputy finance manager will take responsibility for the training and development of 2 junior management accountants.

Candidate must be CCAB part qualified and have similar experience gained from an NHS or public sector organisation. You will have excellent communication skills and have intermediate Excel skills.
