I have an urgent requirement for a Group Head of Financial Reporting for a Nasdaq listed Crypto Exchange platform. This is a Contract or Temp to Perm opportunity reporting into the Group CFO and requires someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and be hands on.


You will play a critical role in preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements to the SEC and also be responsible for financial reporting for subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK. The role has the added responsibility of applying accounting standards to complex transactions within the digital asset industry that have yet to be clearly defined under IFRS. The role will also be responsible for the group wide allocation of costs in line with the group transfer pricing model.




Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of annual consolidated group statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Preparation of the 20-F for filing with the US regulators
  • Delivery of regulatory reports as necessary to multiple global regulators
  • Preparation and oversight of individual statutory accounts in multiple jurisdictions
  • Key participant within the global audit process
  • Implementing new accounting standards under IFRS as necessary
  • Understanding of group cost allocations/transfer pricing models

Required experience:

  • Qualified accountant with at least 10+ years accounting/reporting experience
  • Previous experience working for, and taking the lead in, the financial statement preparation for a listed company
  • Current theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS and its implications on reporting
  • Previous exposure to complex consolidation accounting
  • Experience implementing a global transfer pricing model
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with senior stakeholders or across divisions.
  • Proactive self-starter, comfortable with working autonomously when necessary and willing to assume extended responsibility
