CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

Our client is a leading Construction business in NW London operating across the UK, with a T/O £80m and an enviable Blue Chip client base across retail, commerce and leisure. The role is based in NW London and offers excellent prospects.

Key to the further development of the finance function in supporting this growing business will be the appointment of a Financial Controller (No 2 role) to support the FD in providing quality management information to aid decision making in the business and to oversee a team of 10 staff in finance.

Working closely with the Commercial Team and Department Heads, the role will include:-

• Oversee the day to day finance function
• Deputise for the FD when required
• Overhaul and develop finance systems (COINS)
• Provide quality management information
• Budgeting, forecasting and working capital management

Prospects for the new Financial Controller are excellent. Construction experience is essential, gained in a high volume, medium to large business. An accounting qualification is preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA) but relevant qualified by experience candidates from construction will be considered.
