Role Overview

You will play a key role as an objective Internal Auditor, you will contribute and improve business operations by bringing a systematic and focused approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Working across all areas of the business, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial and operational audits, process and control reviews as well as ad hoc projects and investigations. As a highly valued member of this team, you will work closely with the Internal Audit team and the Financial Compliance & Control function. This role will require you to travel to Panasonic locations across the Europe & CIS region.

How you will become part of the bigger picture..

As part of our team you will:

  • Undertake and manage operational and SOX compliance auditing across the Panasonic Europe Region
  • Recognize different culture and business practices in various locations and partner with the business process owners to recommended optimal business solutions to strengthen controls and increase efficiency
  • Take a leading role in the development of new and amended audit processes, specific innovative ways of working and new ideas for reviewing risk and control issues
  • Report and present findings to Panasonic companies and HQ management
  • Suggest improvements to controls and processes
  • Utilise data analytics across Panasonic Europe regional companies to assist in the audit process
  • Work on ad-hoc audit projects as required

What you will bring to the picture..

  • Your recognised qualification - qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organization skills, and the dexterity to lead people and projects
  • Demonstration of significant related accounting experience / accounting principles
  • Knowledge and experience of SOX compliance
  • A thorough understanding of auditing principles
  • Your assertiveness and proactivity, the ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of a project
  • Your strong administration and people skills to ensure that you collaborate effectively with the Internal Audit team as well as other departments


Desired:

  • Experience in business intelligence tools such as Tableau
  • A second European language
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Knowledge of ERPs such as SAP and Oracle, especially on standard reports and tables
