Financial Controller
Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join an SME business based in Southampton. The role would be reporting into the Directors and be responsible for streamlining processes, overseeing all accounts work, producing management accounts and presenting all financial information to stakeholders.
The Role:
Preparing the monthly management accounts to include a profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow statement, monthly journals and variance analysis for statutory submission
Calculating, reconciling and posting company transactions and managing petty cash and staff expenses
Identify causes of variance from budget and creating monthly performance reports, analysing profits by revenue stream
Recommend improvements to procedures and processes to ensure the department is working efficiently The Ideal Candidate:
Experience within a similar position
Studying towards ACCA/ACA (essential)
Strong Excel and analytical and reporting skills
Strong attention to detail and good verbal and written communication skills
