SRM are delighted to be working with a Hertfordshire based business who are looking to hire a Credit Manager to join their friendly finance team.

This role will be to oversee amd manage the Credit team. You will be responsible for ensuring team forecast and targets are met in relation to outstanding company debts, compiling monthly reporting, managing Group debtor ledgers and maintaining good relationships with key customers and with internal senior management and working closely with the CFO, as required.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing all customer debtors and managing the DSO
• Reviewing of daily, weekly & monthly team reporting.
• Maintaining of team KPI's.
• Managing the monthly department reporting onand group debtor ledgers.
• Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors.
• Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit ratings.
• Setting up of terms and conditions of credit.
• Cash collection including electronic transfers, credit card and cheque processing.
• Following up payments as needed.
• Bad debt collection and litigation.
• Negotiating re-payment plans and effectively providing support and leading from the front in responding to relevant customer enquiries.

Key Objectives:

• Good all round skills on MS Office, Outlook, Excel skills to pivot and v-look up experience
• Previous experience in a credit management is essential
• Previous strong leadership and management experience, ideally of up to a team of 10
