Hutcheon Mearns are supporting an upstream operator to source a Senior Accountant to join their high performing finance team. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, your role will be varied and involve the following key

responsibilities:

• Co-ordination of month end close process


• Preparation of group monthly management accounts appropriate analysis


• Review of monthly key account reconciliations and journals


• Review and support the preparation of joint venture billings


• Review and support credit control and sales invoicing process


• Provide input to the Monthly Board Pack


• Cash management and involvement in covenant calculations


• Assist with the preparation of budgets and reforecasts of the group


• Assist with tasks associated with the annual financial and joint venture accounting audits


• Review work of and support Assistant Accountant


• Establishes and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and others in the business to ensure credibility of the Finance group


• Assist with ad-hoc project work

To be considered you will be a team player, ideally with an accountancy qualification and experience in the EP sector.
